Coach Lauren’s Perfect Protein Mug Cake

Even if you aren’t a cook, you can create macro-friendly recipes. This is a recent post in our private Facebook Group from our very own Coach Lauren - a self- admitted NON-COOK!

“OMG! I’ve concocted the most delicious protein mug cake! Should I start my own food blog now?”

  • 1 Scoop PES Chocolate Cupcake Protein Powder (whey/casein protein powder will work best)

  • 1/2-1 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

  • 1/2-1 Tbsp Swerve Granulated Sugar

  • 10g Devils Food Cake Mix (this is the secret ingredient!)

  • 1/4 cup skim milk (or almond milk)

  • 1/4 cup liquid egg whites

Directions: Spray large mug, add/mix dry ingredients, add egg and milk, stir until smooth, microwave 45-60 seconds (depending on how gooey you like it, I like it very gooey), top with Cool Whip!

Macros: Calories: 205; Protein: 31 grams; Carbs: 12 grams; Fats: 2 grams
