Personal Nutritionist Kansas City
We created something different!
We created Couture Fitness & Lifestyle Coaching because we were fed up with the weight loss industry. Fed up with women thinking they needed to cut out their favorite foods in order to look a certain way. Fed up with women coming to us saying they had been eating 1200 calories a day for months on end and weren’t losing weight. Fed up with all of the approaches to weight loss that are not based in science. Fed up with women bewildered, ashamed, and thinking they were broken. Both of us had gone down multiple paths in our fitness journey that left us wondering what was wrong with our bodies. We learned there was nothing wrong with us – what was wrong were the terrible plans we were following. So we created something different! We wanted women to have a place to come for sane, science-based nutrition and fitness advice that was customized to them and would serve the dual purpose of helping them build a life they love and a body they adore.

Allison - Certified Sports Nutritionist, completed ACE Group Exercise Certification
I’m Allison. A mother of three, living in a Kansas City suburb. I have been passionate about health and fitness my entire life.
In addition to lifting weights, I enjoy tennis, hiking, volleyball, and just being active with my family. I am a lover of all food, but especially dessert.
My philosophy to nutrition and exercise has always been that it must fit into your lifestyle and enhance your life, not the other way around. I am passionate about teaching women that the body of their dreams is not achieved by starvation and hours of cardio. I believed this myself for many years and it wasn’t until after years of depriving myself that I learned that the key to long-term metabolic health and weight management was in fueling your body with ENOUGH calories and adding muscle mass.
Today, I enjoy true food freedom, a thriving metabolism at 40 years old, and zero mental energy spent on dieting.

Jo - Certified Life Coach
I’m Jo. I’m a mother of two teenagers living in a Kansas City suburb and a certified Life & Weight Coach through the Life Coach School. I have long been a fitness fanatic – dance and ballet in high school, step aerobics in college, marathons and half-marathons in my 20s and 30s – and I have always loved a good before and after fitness transformation.
In my early 40s I competed in my first fitness competition and completely transformed my body. A switch flipped in my brain and eating and exercising became less about how little I could eat and how hard I could push myself to learning about how to optimize nutrition and exercise for my lifestyle. The results blew my mind. I’ve never looked back (and never looked better).
I became a certified life coach because I am passionate about helping women live their best lives ever. I love helping clients create life-changing transformations, and I can’t wait to help women design lives they love in bodies they adore.
Trust me: it’s not too late and you are NEVER too old.

Coach Janine
I’m Janine, a mother of two living outside St. Louis with a lifelong passion for fitness. I played competitive soccer through college and later competed in local CrossFit events. While I love starting my day with a cardio workout, I've learned that proper nutrition is key to maintaining a healthy metabolism and weight, especially as I’ve gotten older.
I’m excited to share my knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and metabolic health with the CFLC community and help my clients achieve their long-term goals!

Coach Julie - Pilates Instructor
I’m Julie, a 50-year-old single mom and part-time attorney and Reformer Pilates teacher. I’ve been a long-distance runner since age 14, completing several marathons, but now I embrace a wide range of workouts—though you won’t catch me at Zumba!
Exercise has always been my therapy, especially after being widowed at 37. But as I've gotten older, I’ve learned that nutrition plays an even bigger role in maintaining a healthy weight. Joining Couture Fitness helped me break through a weight plateau by eating more, lifting weights, and cutting back on cardio. Now, I’m passionate about helping other women fuel their bodies and build strength through balanced nutrition and fitness.

Coach Brooke
Hi, I’m Brooke, a wife and mother of three active children. I joined Couture Coaching in July 2021 as a client, eager to learn from this amazing community. I’ve always been active in sports, but I focused heavily on cardio while neglecting nutrition and avoiding weightlifting.
Since embracing strength training, I’ve lost 40 pounds, improved my bloodwork, and discovered that food is medicine—something I’ve seen firsthand with my daughter, who has managed Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis gluten-free and medication-free for over five years.
I value the ability to manage my nutrition without cooking separate meals for my family. Learning about macronutrients and how to adjust my diet for different cycles has been life-changing! I love trying new recipes and sharing them with my clients. I’m excited to help others achieve their fitness goals—let’s do this!

Coach Katie
Hi, I’m Katie, a PhD Statistician living in Kansas City with my husband and our two high-maintenance dogs, Dennis and Twinkie. I love bringing new ideas to life through baking, sewing, and woodworking, and my husband and I enjoy exploring new places when we travel.
Staying fit is essential for me to embrace life’s adventures. I’ve always valued fitness and strength training, but my body weight and image fluctuated due to inconsistent nutrition. Frustrated by lack of results, I became a Couture client in spring 2022. The program’s sustainable nutrition and strength components, along with the supportive community and focus on mindset, made a real difference.
As a Couture Coach, I use my analytical skills to help clients understand their data and my experience as a client-turned-coach to support them in creating a healthy lifestyle they love!

Coach Christie
My name is Christie. I’m a mom of two based in the Kansas City area. As a vegetarian for most of my life and vegan for over 15 years, I have grown an extensive knowledge of vegan nutrition and the best protein sources to optimize health.
My journey into fitness began in 2022 as a Couture Coaching client, where I discovered a passion for lifting weights and building a stronger body. I now channel this passion into helping others rediscover their love for their bodies and learn how to nourish themselves properly. My approach is rooted in compassion, strength, and a commitment to health.

Coach Lauren
I first joined Couture Coaching as a client after the usual methods I relied on for weight loss (skipping meals, eating less, and excessive cardio) stopped working after my second baby. I knew my metabolism had taken a hit, but I needed the guidance and accountability of a coach to help me break the cycle, start eating more, and replace most of my cardio with strength training. By reverse dieting, I achieved more energy and a leaner, tighter physique—and I loved the results.
As a coach, I’m passionate about helping other working moms realize that it is possible to have it all: a thriving career, a happy family, and the confidence that comes from feeling and looking great. It all starts with building a foundation of smart nutrition, exercise, and self-care habits.
